Mr. Olusegun Omosehin is the Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive of the National Insurance Commission, Nigeria. A seasoned insurance professional with over 30 years of leadership experience, he has played pivotal roles in strategic planning, risk management, and organizational transformation across leading insurance institutions.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN). Mr. Omosehin holds degrees in Political Science, International Law and Diplomacy, and Economics, and is an alumnus of the Said Business School, University of Oxford. Prior to his appointment as the Nigerian Regulator for the Insurance Sector in April 2024, he served as Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association and held CEO positions at Old Mutual Nigeria Life Assurance, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, and AIICO General Insurance.
