Mr. Sahib Singh Khosla

Sahib Singh Khosla, HSC, FIA, FASK, FAAU is an actuary, governance leader, and sustainability advocate working at the intersection of insurance, long-term capital, and inclusive economic development across Africa. He serves as Executive Director and Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at Lux Actuaries & Consultants and has advised insurers, pension schemes, banks, regulators, and development-oriented institutions across multiple African markets on solvency, financial reporting, risk management, ESG integration, and strategic transformation.
Sahib currently serves as Vice-Chair of Kenya’s Multi-Agency Taskforce on the Actuarial Bill under the National Treasury and Economic Planning and is a member of the Africa Regional Council of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD). His work has increasingly focused on how financial systems, particularly insurance and pensions, can support resilience, social inclusion, and sustainable economic growth.
A Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Actuarial Society of Kenya, and the Actuarial Association of Uganda, Sahib has contributed extensively to regulatory reform, financial governance, actuarial innovation, and sustainability discourse within the African financial sector. He is also a recipient of the Geoffrey Heywood Award from the International Actuarial Association and the Head of State Commendation (HSC) awarded by the President of Kenya.
At the conference, Sahib will share perspectives on the evolving role of life insurance as a catalyst for household resilience, long-term capital mobilisation, and inclusive economic transformation in Africa.
