Attra is an insurance and climate risk professional with over nine years experience in inclusive insurance, disaster risk financing, and climate risk management. She currently serves as Business Development and Partnerships Lead at the Agro Consortium (AIC), the secretariat of the Uganda Agriculture Insurance Scheme (UAIS), a public-private partnership between the Government of Uganda and the private sector.

In this role, she drives growth strategy, builds and manages strategic partnerships, and advances innovative approaches to expand insurance access among underserved populations. Her work places a strong emphasis on women and other vulnerable groups who are disproportionately affected by climate shocks, ensuring that solutions are both inclusive and responsive to real-world needs. Attra  holds  multiple certifications in climate risk, inclusive insurance, and project management, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering.
