Security approval
With the exception of the countries listed in the table above, participants from all other countries are required to send a copy of their passports to obtain security clearance without visiting the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in order to simplify the process and save time.
Accordingly, their passports must be submitted by the organizing committee or by their respective companies to the Passports and Immigration Authority in Egypt for security approval.
The deadline for receiving these requests is 10 May 2026, to allow sufficient time for processing the required security clearance.
Schengen Visa Requirement
Holders of a valid and previously used Schengen visa may enter Cairo International Airport and Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport without the need to obtain an entry visa, except for nationals of the following countries: Syria, Iraq, Mali, Iran, Turkey, Palestine, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Niger.
Nationals of the following countries who hold a valid Schengen visa may enter Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport directly: China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, and Algeria.
e-Visa Requirements
A foreign national wishing to enter the Arab Republic of Egypt must first obtain an e-Visa through the Egypt e-Visa Portal.
An e-Visa may be issued to citizens of certain countries upon submitting an application via the Egypt e-Visa Portal.
